About the Program

The U9-U12 Learn to Train focuses on:

  • Hands-on learning
  • Expanding soccer techniques
  • Basic soccer play principles
  • Autonomy
  • Team-building
  • and more!

We also emphasize having fun and building a love for soccer which aligns with Long Term Player Development principles.

Program Structure

  • During the winter, teams train twice a week.
  • Led by Certified Head Coaches (parent and paid), overseen by a Provincial or National

certified Assistant Technical Director.

  • Two dome sessions per week
  • Team Coaches
  • Program oversight from the Technical Staff

Additional Costs

  • Each player must purchase a Homa FC uniform kit—game jersey, training jersey, shorts, and socks.
  • Mandatory soccer equipment (cleats and shin guards) must also be purchased.
  • Each player must pay team fees (for equipment, tournaments, and festival fees).
  • Fundraising events and campaigns are encouraged to offset team fee costs.
